Back to School Scholarship

This $5,000 scholarship was first awarded in 2005 and was designed to assist individuals who postoned or never completed their college education, and are caring for a child or disabled dependant.  The Application deadline has past, thank you for your inquiry. 

Irene Murphy Scholarship Winner

This year's $5,000 Irene Murphy Scholarship winner, Elizabeth Dunas, was selected from 46 applications.  A new record by the way!  And talk about "over achievers," she'll attend George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon with a double major in Pre-med and Physcology.  Elizabeth one day aspires to become either a Pediatric Doctor or Neonatologist.  Best of luck Elizabeth!

Each spring since 1987, we proudly award this $5,000 scholarship to a local high school senior or recent graduate who has achieved academic excellence and demonstrated outstanding leadership through community involvement.
